Agroforestry related interests include the individual and institutional factors that affect landowner adoption of agroforestry practices, and the development of public programs that facilitate changes that are socially and economically viable, as well as environmentally sustainable. Other related research interests include attitudes and values regarding forest resources and social conflicts over policies and programs affecting these resources. Present research project areas include southeast and northeast Missouri and forested areas of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
